Lucy Lawless and friends perform a cover of Meredith Brooks “Bitch” live at the Kings Arms in Newton, Auckland, New Zealand; 27 May 2012.
Plus, a bonus performance to lead off the song. I don’t think she does that very often these days, so it was a special treat.
I’m reblogging just to add a tag, because I’m a little sad that none of the concert photos or videos have been tagged Anika Moa too. She’s the one that keeps swaying in and out of the frame on the right.
Also I feel less ambiguous about my love for anika moa than i do about my strangely persistent preoccupation/obsession with lucy lawless.
Oh my god, northern germany is SO FLAT! tbh it made me feel a little claustrophobic, which doesn’t even make sense, but it did. i wish to know how these people navigate without hills and mountains and the sea as reference points.
I was at a friend’s wedding on an old farm in the middle of nowhere. It was weirdly nice being so intensely social with people I don’t really know. Kind of like camp, almost, only the camp activities were ‘constant alcohol consumption’, ‘dressing up’, ‘eating’, ‘dancing’ and ‘wedding ceremony’.
Today I was telling my grandma about my trip, and she was like ‘well, what was it. i mean, was it a woman and a woman or was it a woman and a man or what, there’s so many different things these days, you just never know!’
This is my third reblog in a relatively short period of time that includes Lucy Lawless’ tongue, which makes me self-conscious enough that it probably won’t happen again. Enjoy!
